January Blood Drive

Did you know that one pint of blood can save three lives? The next blood drive is Thursday, January 24th in the Great Hall, 12-6pm. Hosted by Alpha Mu Sigma.

MLK, Jr. Kids Day 2013

Saturday, January 26th

Kids from the local Fredericksburg community ages 5-12 join us for fun games, activities, and crafts to celebrate and honor Martin Luther King, Jr.
Mary Washington students are invited to volunteer to run a craft or game, or help engage children with activities such as improvisation and acting.

MLK, Jr. Day of Service

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. emphasized the importance of engaging and giving back to one’s community. The MLK, Jr. Day of Service will focus on service projects that recognize Dr. King’s dedication to addressing social justice issues, such as poverty, education, and public health. All members of the campus community are invited to participate in the UMW MLK, Jr. Day of Service
